SBTCPS hosted a catered dinner on the showgrounds which was well attended. It was really great to see so many familiar faces from California make the trip up, and of course from Canada and Toni Pawson from New York!

Next year the show site is moving. Sammamish Kennel club is moving the All Breed show from Marymoor Park to a location just a bit further north in Snohomish. This is a brand new show site for them — they are leasing 50 acres of land with the option to purchase and they are getting the land show ready. The All Terrier club is not going make the move, opting to take its show south and split it into a winter and summer show. SBTCPS has opted to stay north with Sammamish Kennel Club and put on two stand-alone specialties!! This will be a big challenge, but also a great opportunity. We are planning some seminars and other special events. SBTCPS encourages everyone to join us in August 2015 in Snohomish, Washington in what we hope will be a fantastic show experience! Stay tuned for updates!

There was a lot more show activity in the northwest, but rather than trying to list all the show results here, I wanted to congratulate the many new champions that finished in a flurry late in the year in Washington and Oregon. Everyone coordinated with each other to pull together some much needed majors and that helped many dogs and bitches obtain their championships. Congratulations to these new champions (hopefully we'll see all these lovely Staffords in the gallery next year!): Attitude Drop Dead Handsome, Trugrip Rebelside Golden Bear, Glenmars American Classic at Classy Staffys, Glenmars Rim Fire Pistol at Classy Staffys, Trugrip Crystal Blue Persuation.

If I missed someone I apologize — please write to Christine and we'll get you in next time.

Last but not least, I must congratulate Veteran Dog GCh Rakstaff Good Boy Red Baron, owner/breeder handled by Ron Schwab. Baron placed in three groups in one day at the Greater Clark County KC show in December. He got a group 4 in the Terrier Group, and group 3 in the owner handed group and a group 2 in the veteran group. Wow!!

Hope to see you here in August 2015 for a new adventure for our club — a back-to-back stand alone specialty and weekend of events!!! Check our website for more information and also show superintendent BaRayEvents for more information.

Have a fun, safe and prosperous New Year!

January 5th, 2013

A Staffordshire Bull Terrier male is in need of a new home. He is not a rescue, but rather a re-home. His breeders have taken him back and have been training him and working with him. He is now ready for that perfect family to call his own! UPDATED: Trugrip Lucky Star is happily rehomed!
